The Directors
Paula and Bob White have been the Owner/Directors of Piedmont Gymnastics since 1980. Both
have been coaching and teaching gymnastics for more than 40 years.
Paula and Bob are recognized nationally as
experts in the field of non-competitive and preschool gymnastics. They travel frequently to seminars and conventions throughout
the USA to speak and train instructors in these fields. They own and operate a sister company to Piedmont Gymnastics, which
produces training manuals and supplies for gymnastics schools. Many of these supplies you will see used at Piedmont Gymnastics.
Both Bob and Paula were competitive gymnasts during their youth, and competed for their college teams. They
are nationally rated judges for Women and internationally rated judges for Men. Paula received her BS degree from the University
of Florida. Bob received his BS from Florida State University, and is the AAU State Director for Trampoline and Tumbling.
They were both coaches of the gymnastics team at the University of South Carolina, prior to opening this facility.
